Here’s how to easily differentiate between the Warner T10 series, Muncie and Saginaw 4 speeds:

1. T10 cases can be iron or aluminum, but all use a nine-bolt side cover. Both Muncies and Saginaws have seven-bolt side covers. However, all Muncie cases are aluminum, and all Saginaw cases are cast-iron.

2. Muncies have a six-bolt extension housing. Saginaws use a five-bolt extension housing.

3. The Muncie has two shift arms on the cover and one on the extension housing. The Saginaw has all three arms on the cover.
