Ford ZF 6-Speed Short-Throw Shifter Kits

Even though you’re driving a truck, you can still make it more engaging to drive. Install this Ford short-throw shifter, and you’ll shorten the distance needed to change gears, increasing feel while allowing faster shifts. This short-throw shifter works by changing the fulcrum point of the shift lever, keeping the knob at the same height as the stock shifter.

The 7.3 ZF6 kit on this page is compatible with the manual transmission used on 7.3-liter diesel Ford trucks built between 1999 and 2003. This includes the F250, F350 and F450. Our ZF6 short shifter kit has everything needed for installation, including a spacer, bushings and bolts.


Fits 1999 Thru 2003 Ford F250 / F350 / F450, 3/4 and 1 ton Pickups
with 7.3L Diesel Engine.

Quality part . Except for the rubber boot . Like other people have said . Was tried to but the boot on very carefully and it ripped. So now I need to find a quality boot . For there quality shifter. I would think with all the reviews being great about the shifter. That they would start using a better boot .

After receiving the product i started piecing everything together and went to slide the rubber boot over the shifter to get slid in place and immediately the rubber split. So i had to order another boot and wait a few more day's before getting to install it. But after installation it is a great product and works great. Just disappointed that it broke and had to wait to get another from another company.
