The Jeep NSG370 6-speed transmission, manufactured by Daimler, was the first 6-speed tranny ever factory-installed into a Jeep. The first model came out in 2005, back when Daimler owned Chrysler, who owned Jeep. The NGS370 was installed into Jeep Liberty and Wrangler vehicles as a replacement for the NV3550 and NV1550. It was also used in other Chrysler products, such as the 2007-2009 Dodge Nitro KA.
