NP246 Transfer Case Parts
If you've been experiencing difficulties with your NP246 transfer case, know that you're not alone. A design flaw in the 246 GM transfer case causes the pump to wear the case out, leading to leakage and eventual failure. These cases were put on a number of vehicles including:
- General Motors
- Chevrolet
- 1999 and later Chevy/GMC 4WD 1/2-ton pickups, including Silverado and Sierra
- Chevy Suburban
- Yukon and Tahoe 4WD vehicles
We offer the manual transmission parts to fix the problem. You have access here to our huge inventory of top-quality NP246 transfer case parts, where you can get an NP246 rebuild kit, a New Process 246 transfer case or the individual parts, including chains, slip yokes, bearings, pumps, clutch parts, housings, seals, etc.
Allstate Gear carries parts for New Process transfer cases used in both GM and Dodge trucks built in the 2000s. We also have individual Dodge and GM 246 transfer case parts, so you can fix small problems without doing a complete rebuild. Just need to fix common wear items, like the clutches and pump? We have case half-based NP246 rebuild kits that have the parts you need.
When you order an NP246 transfer case rebuild kit or NP246 transfer case rebuild parts, keep in mind there are slight variations between Dodge and GM units. Dodge trucks use a 23-spline input, while GM has two different inputs: one works with the 4L60E and 4L70E transmissions, while the other works with 4L80E transmissions.
