Dodge New Venture 4500 (NV4500) Input Shafts
Whether your Ram’s transmission is due for a rebuild or you want to upgrade your gearbox, you can get the NV4500 input shaft you need for your truck at Allstate Gear. The New Venture 4500 was used in Dodge trucks between the middle of the 1992 model year to 2005. In 2001, Dodge input shafts used in standard-duty 4x4 pickups were upgraded from 23 to 29 splines, matching those used in its heavy-duty trucks.
Dodge diesel input shafts are a common point of failure on these transmissions. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to upgrade this part. We offer a complete kit that replaces the stock 1 ¼ inch shaft with a 1 3/8 inch shaft. This upgrade requires a clutch with a matching center. |
