This kit will work but not all the parts fit. I got it for a 79 dated transmission from a 80 CJ5 casting 13-32. Not all the top gasket holes are punched in the correct locations and most are 1/4-1/2 a bolt hole off. The rear gasket is missing one of the gasket holes entirely. As far as the snap rings they are close enough to fit but not quite the correct size, other than the 3-4 slider hub snap-ring which fit nicely. The kit does not come with the input-output ball bearing outer snap-rings. Synchros seem to fit well and function, drove the jeep after the build without grinding or notchy shifting. The thrust washers are metal and not plastic and fit nicely. The kit also does not have the o-ring for the front to rear case shift rod guide.
