Nv-4500 review December 17, 2025 Reviewer: Ernie Anastasi from Glenside, PA United States   I just put the transmission in my 01 dodge ram with the Cummins engine and I have nothing negative to say. The transmission works and shifts well, there’s no noise while driving and little noise when shifting. The only thing is that when you get this transmission the first 50 to 100 miles shifting will be somewhat difficult but ultimately should smooth out gradually over time. Overall it’s a solid transmission and I have not had problems with it for the 400 miles I’ve driven it (mostly local driving not highway). Was this review helpful to you?
