(Works Great for 2000 - 2005 Manual trans civic) July 29, 2023 Reviewer: Matt Green from Florida   I bought a 2003 project Honda Civic with a bad trans.. 3rd gear was shot, and it made tons of noises from a bad input shaft bearing! So I looked for some rebuild kits and found this. At first was not too sure and the quality but I full sent it on the purchase. It arrived about 7 days later. Upon installation it was simple, as I matched all of the old parts to all of the new parts for fitment.. Everything fit very well and had zero issues. The build quality was free of defects and everything came in one box individually boxed witch made it easier to identify what part was what. I've Driven 30,000 miles on the full SLW kit and have had zero issues. I WOULD DEFINETLY BUY AGAIN! Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent Kit December 31, 2020 Reviewer: Daniel Dayton from Denair, CA United States   Recently used this kit to rebuild the SLW transmission in my 2005 civic VP DX.  I've had it since brand new with 7 miles, and it has about 250K on it.  Had a wierd internal bearing noise for a few months, then recently started to get noise coming from the trans in all gears, bearings were going out. When I got the kit I was very happy, the parts looked quality.  When I opened up the transmission case and started to pull bearings out I was even happier!  Everything but the diff bearings were NTN brand japanese bearings with the exact same factory part numbers stamped on them as what  I was pulling out.  The diff bearings were japanese Nachi brand which is also high quality. Got it running and the internal bearing noises were gone and ran well.  The synchros feel nice and tight but still move freely and shift well. I was very happy with the kit and overall would recommend it to anyone looking for a rebuild kit for their Honda SLW manual transmission. Was this review helpful to you?

One bearing dirty and used July 26, 2020 Reviewer: isaac alvarez from Chelan, WA United States   well all parts were all Japanese and oem thats good just one bearing was used or someone tried putting it in and wasn't the right one it has marks and grease and some dirt in the bearings ill just find one locally because I dont have the time to get the whole thing sent back and wait on a another.
