Nearly perfect! June 5, 2020 Reviewer: Jeff   Great fit, quality product. Only issue is that it says it's for a 98 and up so I almost passed on this product. I'm pretty sure I have an early model gm nv4500 (shift plate number 18860). So this does work with early models as well. The only other criticism I have is that it would be nice if they mentioned in the product description what the thread pitch was for the shaft. It's either m16 or 5/8ths but neither course or fine thread really fit all that well. Really satisfied with this product though. A lot better than trying to bid for an original overpriced piece on ebay that's destroyed. Was this review helpful to you?

Mostly a perfect fit September 18, 2019 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Newton, KS United States   Overall the shift tower appears to be of good quality; however I found the ball end was slightly oversize which prevented the shifter from returning to center when in neutral. Even removing the zinc coating was not enough to fix this. The good news is the ball is definitely hardened as a file would not touch it and I only had to give it the lightest of touch with an abrasive wheel to get the right fit.
